Some favorite Xmas moments

There were many wonderful moments this Xmas season for me, most involving Casey and the boys, of course. It was also the first year that Aaron (now 5) really seemed to appreciate the specialness of the season (telling me one time, "kids wish every day was Christmas"), and even understood much of the true root reasons. In no particular order, I thought I would share 10 of my favorite ones:

1. My work holiday party (nice to remind people how funny I am and that we all like each other even outside of work)

2. The carolers at Granny and Grandpa's house (Grandpa with his arm around Granny, wiping tears from his eyes, me holding Aaron, William and nephew Jacob)

3. Aaron pumping his fist in the air, so excited at beating me (fair and square) in air hockey

4. William sitting on a little footstool waiting patiently to open his presents

5. The boys woke up, came downstairs, turned on the tree lights, but were really quiet - I got out of bed and came out to see what was going on and they were seated on the floor looking at all their presents lighted from the tree, William whispered "we're looking at the presents."

6. The Silver Dollar City Christmas, really set the tone for our family season

7. Sitting in a large circle with about 25-30 family members during the gift exchange

8. My young cousins (Abby, Marie, Aaron, Renee) great kids all of them

9. Aaron and William wanting to write their name on cups like all the big people, then Aaron saving his and bringing it home

10. A special Xmas time with Casey (the 4-hour conversation traveling in the van, what did you think I meant?)

What are a few of yours?
